yichuan jiang received his phd degree in computer science from fudan university, shanghai, china, in 2005. he is currently a full professor and the director of the intelligent systems and social computing laboratory(issc) , school of computer science and engineering, southeast university, nanjing, china. his main research interests include multiagent systems, social networks, social computing, and distributed intelligent systems. he has published more than 70 scientific articles in refereed journals and conference proceedings, such as the ieee transactions on parallel and distributed systems, the ieee transactions on systems, man, and cybernetics-part a: systems and humans, the ieee transactions on systems, man, and cybernetics-part c: applications and reviews, the journal of parallel and distributed computing, the international joint conference on artificial intelligence (ijcai), and the international conference on autonomous agents and multiagent systems (aamas). he is a senior member of ieee, a senior member of ccf and cie, a member of editorial board of advances in internet of things, an editor of international journal of networked computing and advanced information management, an editor of operations research and fuzziology, and a member of the editorial board of chinese journal of computers.
he received the best paper award from prima2006, the nomination award for the national excellent doctoral dissertation of china, the young distinguished professor of southeast university, the new century excellent talents in university of state education ministry of china, the distinguished talents of six domains in jiangsu provence, and the funds for distinguished young scholars of jiangsu province. he is also the recipient of the hwaying young scholar award in 2008 from the hwaying education and culture foundation.
prof.jiang's current research topics are in the following areas:
1) multiagent based models and methods for complex systems and social computing .
2) multiagent based models and methods for social/complex networks.
3) coordination and adaptation mechanisms in intelligent systems and distributed systems.
