i am currently a full professor and doctoral supervisor with the college of automation & college of artificial intelligence, nanjing university of posts and telecommunications (nupt). i received the ph.d. degree in information and communication engineering from huazhong university of science and technology, wuhan, china, in june 2014. i was a postdoctoral fellow with the faculty of electronic information engineering, xi'an jiaotong university from dec. 2019 to nov. 2022. i was elevated to ieee senior member in feb. 2023. my research interests include energy management of cyber-physical systems (focusing on smart buildings, smart grid, and data centers), internet of things, cloud-fog computing, deep reinforcement learning. i am the principal investigator for seven projects funded by the national natural science fund of china, china postdoctoral science foundation, science and technology department of jiangsu province, and education department of jiangsu province. i have published a book and 44 scientific papers (including two esi highly cited papers, one esi hot paper, and 24 sci-indexed papers, google citation count=1644, sci citation count=910) in famous journals and conferences, e.g., ieee transactions on industrial informatics, ieee transactions on smart grid, ieee transactions on parallel and distributed systems, ieee transactions on cloud computing, ieee internet of things journal, ieee systems journal, building and environment, and served as a reviewer or a tpc member for more than 30 sci-indexed journals and many conferences, e.g., ieee transactions on smart grid, ieee transactions on industrial informatics, ieee transactions on power systems, ieee transactions on sustainable energy, ieee internet of things journal, igesc 2016, iecon 2016, wcsp 2016, wcsp 2017, igesc 2017, ieee vtc-fall 2017, ieee vpcc 2018, igesc 2018, wcsp 2019, cac2022, ccdc2023. moreover, i have 15 authorized invention patents of china on energy management methods for smart buildings and smart grids. in addition, i have received several academic prizes including best papers of ieee transactions on smart grid (ranked first among the top 5 papers), the prize for outstanding doctoral dissertation of hubei province, and the prize for the excellent natural science paper of nanjing city.
