this course aims to offer student the opportunity to develop an understanding of the fundamentals of project management theory, processes, tools and techniques, and their applications in projects. students will engage with the knowledge areas in project management, which include scope management, time management, cost management, quality management, risk management, procurement management, and stakeholder management. the teaching and learning activities for this course comprise lectures and exercises. at the end of this course, students are expected to gain sufficient theoretical and applied knowledge to:
·explain terminologies and techniques in project management knowledge areas;
·prepare for pmp certificate examination;
·apply the project management processes and techniques to some specified cases;
